Refunds and Exchanges: 

I do not offer refunds or exchanges on any of the items in my shop. 

Damaged & Lost Packages: 

I am not responsible for any lost or damaged goods that may arrive in this state due to carrier mishandling. Items are packed extremely carefully on our end. If you receive a damaged package and a candle arrives broken, you will need to file a claim by filling out the form on the USPS website. You must keep all original packaging and contents,  provide photos/proof of the damage, and have the ability to go to your local post office after the claim has been processed if they require an in person review. There is no guaranteed refund even if you decide to file a claim. Each claim must be filed within a certain time period and include proof of insurance, value, and damage. Each mail service has a different time period for filing. If your item arrives damaged or with missing contents, you may file a claim immediately.

If the package is lost, the same policy applies as damaged products. Please make sure that someone is able to receive the package as theft or melting of the candle due to hot weather may occur. I will not be responsible if this occurs. Reminder, frosting may occur due to weather changes during shipping. Frosting is an indicator of 100% soy wax and does not affect the integrity of the candle.

Shipping:

Please ensure that the shipping address that you enter with your order is correct. If it is incorrect, please contact me with the correct shipping address as soon as possible. If your order has already shipped, I cannot make modifications to the shipping label. Please contact USPS if you need to make shipping address modifications after it has shipped. I do not offer a replacement or refund due to an incorrect shipping address entry at time of purchase. 

If an item is returned to me due to an incorrect address, the package can be resent to you for an additional shipping fee. Due to the possibility of severe weather conditions and extended travel times on returned items, frosting may occur. Frosting is an indicator of 100% soy wax and does not affect the integrity of the candle. 

Any charges, customs duties, import fees, taxes etc. are the obligation of the customer. Caitelle is not responsible nor will be held liable for fees post shipment. If these fees are not paid by the buyer and a package is returned to me, you will be required to pay a 30% restocking fee if the product is not wanted OR a second shipping fee to reship your package. Customers choosing to not repay shipping or restocking fee who do not respond to my emails will be blacklisted from making future purchases. Packages will not be sent out before postage is re-paid. 

General Shipping & Handling: 

Handling: All orders ship weekly. Please allow 1-2 weeks for all candles. 

Shipping methods: All orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail. These methods provide a tracking number.
